- remarkable artist from Norway As a child she wanted to be the best dancer in the world! She didn’t go that far, but brought home Norwegian Championships in Swing and Dirty Dancing in 1989 and 1990. She had reached the age of sixteen, and started to pursue the long lasting dream of becoming an artist. At the same time she got into acting.

Her opera debut was in 2002 at The Norwegian Opera House, where she amazed critics as the can can-dancing Valencienne in «Die lustige Witve». The same year she sang the part of Solveig in «Peer Gynt» and performed with the Moscow Art Trio.

In 2003 there has been three engagements at The Norwegian Opera House; New Year concert and tour, «Ragdoll» in the family opera «The Puppet Doctor» and «Valencienne» in «Die lustige Witve». In July she made a successful debut in Sweden, as Blonde in Mozart’s opera «Die Entführung aus dem Serail» at Läckö slottsopera. In August she reached the semi finals in «Queen Sonja International Song Competition». In October/November she impressed critics on several classical concerts together with the Russian pianist Marina Galiakhmetova. www.pianomusikk.com. There has been Television performances and the audience adores her.

The last seven years Eli Kristin Hanssveen has been engaged in several classical projects: church music, chamber music and opera. She has performed in musicals, and is frequently used as a jazz soloist. In between, she developes her talents through master classes and well reputated professors. She has a master degree as a songteacher/classical singer (The Norwegian State Academy of Music), and works as an artist, singer, composer, lyricist and teacher. She has been in charge of big projects: music plays, seminars, theatre plays and CD-productions. Eli Kristin has also been an actress at regional and national theatres. She performs within pop/soul/ R&B/folk/classical music. Together with her husband she owns and runs the Norwegian Sound&Vision company.

She started to work seriously with cross over composer/pianist Misha Alperin in 1999, and in 2000 the cooperation lead to an exiting merge between herself and “Moscow Art Trio”. In 2000 they held concerts in St.Petersburg and Moscow. It was a great success and in all of October they played throughout Europe. Both the audience and the critics were impressed, stunned and curious. Because of Eli Kristin´s all round-background, wide range of skills and stage presence, she is an extraordinary match to “Moscow Art Trio”. She participates on the trio’s album: «Once Upon a Time», released in 2002.

She has participated on several albums in all of Europe and USA, amongst them TNT’s latest production.
